'Too Hoots' Terms and Conditions
- Payment
- A deposit of one third of the rental fee is payable if the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance shall be payable six weeks before the commencement. Non payment of deposit or balance shall be construed as a cancellation by the client. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before commencement, the total rental amount will be due.
- Cancellation
- Any cancellation should be made in writing. An attempt will be made to re-let the property and if this is successful then a refund will be made. If re-letting is unsuccessful then all monies paid will be forfeit.
- Travel Insurance
- It is up to the client to provide their own travel insurance arrangements. these are not included in the rental price.
- Period of Hire
- Rental commences, unless otherwise notified, at 3.00pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10.00am on the day of departure.
- Booking Form
- All persons in your party must be entered on the booking form, including any pets. The owners reserve the right to refuse persons not entered or in excess of the sleeping capacity.
- Availability
- The booking is made on the understanding that the property will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible, due to circumstances not under the control of the owner, (Force majeure) e.g. fire, theft or damage, all monies paid shall be refunded in full, but the hirer shall have no further claim against the owner.
- Care of the Property
- The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property, its furniture, fixtures and fittings, leaving them in the same state of repair at the end of the period of rental as at the start.
- Breakages or Damage
- The client will be liable for the cost of any breakages or damage to the property which occurred during their stay. The client will also be liable for extra cleaning costs, should the property be left in an unsatisfactory condition.
- Liability
- The owners shall not be liable to the client or third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the rental.
- Fireworks
- The use of Fireworks are STRICTLY PROHIBITED both on the property and in the surrounding SSSI area, failure to comply will result in the repossession of the property.
- Pets
- Pets are very welcome at the property, but owners are requested not to leave them unattended. as this can cause stress and upset in strange surroundings. PLEASE ensure you clean up after your pets at the property, surrounding roads and in the village. So that Winterton-on-Sea remains the pet friendly place it is.
